One Mr Mystery Lil ^_^

My wee story goes back when I was a gleam and someone, no not someone, I know him well, our ‘Little’ (oh now this Mr. Grown up  gets irritated with the name Lil btw) was there. We hadn't seen or heard from each other for about 13 years. He came up yesterday on FaceBook and poked me and things just fell into place, we are friends again. I couldn't be happier! But I don’t remember anything, I only have a faint recollection about him, we grew up together, we went to school together, fighting and crying together and at last he flew away to his unnamed realm!

Am keyed up, I started discovering people from my past, am happy it’s him the first treasure. I can’t believe that you are real, in fact a friend to fall back upon after a very long time is really awesome and it happens to only one in a million. Yeah I discovered you! Friendship is meant to be gulped like lemonade on a hot summer day and I’m gulping it this winter day ! Yes we had friendship of a deeper quality which probably lacked the drama and intensity of growth, it was innocent and pure.

 I don’t have down pat when we met

I thought I would never forget the times

Friends forever is an old classic I realize ,

I know almost nothing, nothing at all.

I can’t remember the talks we had,

The songs we sang, jokes we laughed

I still can’t remember how our days went

All I remember is your cute ‘Lil’ name.

You flowed and passed like everything else,

Every time you lit a smile on me

And you still do it with all that care

I lost you in the past I thought

But you came to me after long tempest

It was a mystery to be met!

You are never apart, maybe in distance but not in hearts and memories,you are still a lil part of my life that can never be lost. You are special for me.
